As our Estimator, you will play a key role in project success from the very beginning. You'll prepare accurate budgets, analyze bids, and align purchasing decisions with our high standards for quality and client satisfaction. Your work will have a direct impact on financial performance, scheduling, and the overall experience of our discerning clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and estimating for multimillion-dollar custom residential projects
• Analyze architectural plans, project specifications, subcontractor proposals, and material takeoffs
• Prepare and maintain detailed cost breakdowns using UDA Construction Online, Excel and QuickBooks
• Collaborate with Purchasing Manager, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators to align estimates with project specifications and award subcontracts and purchase orders
• Assist in preconstruction planning and schedule forecasting
• Recommend value-engineering options without sacrificing quality
• Monitor material and labor cost trends to inform pricing decisions
• Complete daily project updates/logs in QuickBooks Time tracker, MS Office, and Construction Online
• Communicate projected estimate summaries clearly to leadership and clients

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of construction experience (custom residential preferred)
• Proven expertise in construction budgeting and estimation
• Proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks, and construction estimation tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Experience with high-end finishes and luxury materials is a plus
• Must have a clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time, salaried position with flexible scheduling for family needs
• Competitive salary at $75,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience
